Last Sunday we showshoed from Badger Pass to Dewey Point making the loop on trails 14 and 18 (map).
Snow was settled, not too soft. Some people apparently walked even without snow shoes but that caused some holes on the trail.
There were much fewer people on regular weekend compared to President's Day long weekend last year.
People camp near Dewey point. We saw some snow walls around camp sites and some narrow snow caves.

Re: Dewey Point
Tomba;
My wife and I did that same hike on a stay for New Year 2001 - the first and only time I have ever hiked with snow shoes. We hiked on newly fallen snow, and it sure was fun. Thanks for reviving that memory.

I am not in a hurry, so don't be hasty.
