Freshies Keep Tahoe Skiers on Slopes
More Than 15 Feet New Snow

TAHOE CITY, CA- Spring in the Sierra Nevada has the hills blooming with endless powder, much to the delight of skiers and snowboarders throughout the country. While most mountain resort destinations are beginning to pack it up, North Lake Tahoe ski resorts have received more than 14 feet of snow in the month of March alone, creating peak season conditions with no end in sight.
"Late season snow is not unusual," Andy Chapman, tourism director for the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association, said. "But it seems to just keep on coming, and with it, so do the skiers. This weekend is going to be especially good with clear skies expected."
The North Lake Tahoe Resort Association is offering Ski in/Ski Out Packages from $142 per person, per night, based on double occupancy. Guests will also receive a two-day Ski Tahoe North Interchangeable Lift Tickets. The tickets are valid at Alpine Meadows, Diamond Peak, Homewood Mountain Resort, Mt. Rose/Ski Tahoe, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Squaw Valley USA or Sugar Bowl. The package requires a two-night minimum and prices are slightly higher on weekends.
North Lake Tahoe is a 45-minute drive from the Reno Tahoe International Airport, two hours from Sacramento International Airport and just over three hours from San Francisco International Airport.
