Done it in summer conditions...Is this a pretty straightforward snowshoe day trek ?
Also how far from the th is the road closed?

A better question might be whether the road was repaired. There was a pretty big rockfall/washout. No idea whether it is before or after the gate but I saw pictures on my facebook feed.
