Re: Maverick's 2017 Annual HST Meet-up
While looking through some photos from last summer I found this one from Arrow Pass. This was taken looking back down from about 1/4 of the way up the final boulder field. Looking forward to the meetup!

Well, I'm going to give this meet up a try. I think I will take Daisy's sage advice and try to hike to Window Lake from Woods Creek, go up the drainage there, and try to drop over into Arrow Lakes.

Re: Maverick's 2017 Annual HST Meet-up
I had my long needed ankle surgery done on December 12th. Hopefully, this means I will no longer be slowly limping home while others are long gone from the Meetup(2015), but able to put in many years of gallivanting around the Sierra. I think my final cast is coming off the new bionic ankle on Thursday. So I am going to optimistically pull a permit for the Meetup, and if rehab goes well, I will see everyone there. It gives me a target to shoot for. If it goes a little slower, I will check in,and let you know it will have to be 2018.

Keeping my fingers crossed that things work out well for you Rich and not only will you be able to attend this years Meet-up but that your ankle will be much stronger than before. So I am going to optimistically pull a permit for the Meetup, and if rehab goes well, I will see everyone there. It gives me a target to shoot for. If it goes a little slower, I will check in,and let you know it will have to be 2018.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

On the first post for the Meet-up, is there supposed to be a map, or a link. I see only a big blank space. ???

Check now, updated the map link and also included a direct link to the same location so if the map goes blank again.
