? Current state of snowpack/runoff

Post by bdevlin »

Anyone know if there is still run off into Wishon Reservoir? Looking to head there in Late Sept. and also possibly next week. More specifically up river from the North end of Wishon between Courtwright and Woodchuck lake.

I don't know about that area but there is almost no snow in the sierras this year and mostly very dry conditions.

FYI in the future, an easy web search task... cdec AND Kings AND Wishon

http://mapper.acme.com/?ll=37.08144,-118.86271&z=15&t=T" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

15 day plot. Peaks are probably after thunderstorms.

Below plot shows how it is rather piddly now. However does not include possible puny flows coming in from Fleming Creek, and Post Corral Creek downstream when deer aren't drinking if any. Found Fleming Creek dry one droughty year and all of them might drop to intermittent this summer by end of September.

Now that was not sent from an iPhone. Thanks. Useful information. Sounds bleak although I know there are some fairly deep pools down the N Fork downstream from Post Corral (Just upstream from Helms creek).
