I like this website because it gives an overall picture of snow. Below the maps are lists of the current 24-hour snowfall and total snow depths. It is a good supplement to the CDEC snow website.

Looking at snow surveys near yosemite and the upper San joaquin drainage that water content of snowpack is about 80% of 2017 around April 1. of course spring and early summer temps and precipitation can change things dramatically but my guess is that areas should open up about 2 weeks earlier than 2017. So if you check out Daisy's pics in a discussion in the fishing forum those lakes she posted should be completely open on the dates of her pics taken in 2017. So if fishing Humphreys basin is your goal you probably want to wait until the last week of July at the earliest.

Monthly snow survey results are in, and sites within the parks have approximately 175% of the April 1 average water content. If you’re considering a wilderness trip this year, it’s not too early to start thinking about how this large snowpack will affect your plans, particularly in the early part of the summer. Some things to expect: challenging route finding, steep snowfields on passes, swift creek crossings, and delayed grazing opening dates.

Looks like SEKI has revised their totals and dropped the number a bit. FB post now saying 141% of normal for 4/1. Wonder what caused the change?

Normally the April reading at that location is the final one of the year but this year they decided to conduct a fifth monthly reading at the site at the intersection of Highway 50 and Sierra-at-Tahoe entrance.
