Sounds like repair will require a lift from an Chinook! and before the next storm!

Re: Conditions for snow survey crews
Well, I'm taking too long to process my own footage so I'll post my colleague's instead. He did a good job labeling things anyway. Long video. Enjoy.

Please edit it so the background music plays AC DC's "Highway to Hell".

Absolutely marvelous Eric, these views are outstanding, Arrow Peak/Bench Lake/Muro Blanco are great, and the Tehipite Valley/Dome are a real treat. Thank very much for posting this!

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Re: Conditions for snow survey crews
My colleague and I had discussed combining to develop a more comprehensive video. Might still do that for this trip, or the next. I had my camera going during the survey and also got some good footage when it was my turn in the front seat.

Re: Conditions for snow survey crews
Very cool video. I liked your colleague's visual overlay with elevation direction and flight plot. How did he get that overlay? edit: guessing he did it with gopro plus virb. Very cool.
Plus, I'm hoping your wife didn't watch the video or she might not let you fly again. Not a lot between you and an extreme Winter in a downed Helo. I wouldn't pass a trip up like that in a heartbeat..
