Any Recent Beta on Snow Conditions and Bugs

I'm trying to head out this weekend (Yeah first one of the season) but most places seem to be affected by deep snow above 11k feet depending on places. Ranger said they got 3-8" of new snow over the weekend and weather hasn't been very warm the last few weeks so the snow is sticking much longer. Can anyone give me any input from any trips this past weekend?

Trying to see if Mineral King (Franklin Lakes Loop) would be doable but was told Franklin pass has 3-8 FEET. Wouldn't wanna trudge through that much snow but at the same time I'm seeing pictures on iG taken this week and it seems like Cathedral lakes are clearing up nicely. It's weird to me that the Central/Northern Sierras are clearing faster than the Southern Sierras

Can anyone tell me if the snow conditions shown on ACME mapping is recent satellite imagery? It seems accurate for some reason and from what I've been researching.

ACME uses Google Maps, which I never trust, as they are frequently years old. And there's no real easy way to tell when the images were taken.

AlmostThere - thank you for that link to the Interactive Snow Information page - I hadn't seen that one yet. Another useful item for the trip planning tool chest!
