Waterwheel Falls / LeConte Falls

Post by maverick »

Those of you who may have been planning to go to these falls for there spectacular waterwheels show this
year, you might want to change your plans or get up there as soon as Tioga Road opens, sooner would be better.
According to the Yosemite NPS: Snow (water content) for the Tuolumne drainage is 7% and Merced, 2%, of average
for this time of year. (Last year, it was 31% for Tuolumne and 28% for Merced.)

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
