Emigrant Wilderness Conditions?

Post by andrew »

First post, so apologies if this is the wrong place for it.

Looking for information on trail and road conditions in the Emigrant WIlderness, specifically near Lake Heiser or Bull Run Lake. From what I can see, SR 4 is closed above Lake Alpine, but there doesn't seem to be much snow in the area, so I'm having trouble believing the road is closed.

Hoping to sneak in a very early spring trip at the end of April.

It's likely still closed, but I suspect it opens before your trip.
