Past their peak, and no way anyone can tell you what the weather/conbitions will
like be in 2 weeks, especially in October.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Agree, peak was 2 weeks ago up here in Mammoth Lakes area - 8 - 9,000 feet .
Spectacular but a short-lived leaf season...still some good yellows here and there (Aspens) but the reds are mostly but a memory.
