Tablelands snow & mosquitoes?

Anyone have any current information about snow coverage and mosquito density on the Tablelands in SEKI? I am considering a trip this coming weekend and my buddy is reluctant to go there unless he knows what to expect. If conditions are good we would loop the Tablelands and perhaps visit Big Bird Lake, thus covering most elevations there. Thanks.

A friend went to Table Meadows last week and reported snow coverage on the ridge, and a few mosquito bites. Temps this week up there are above freezing at night. I suspect the onslaught is about to begin. And if there is still thin snow up there, it's probably more dangerous (easier to punch through into deep holes in the talus) than if there were lots or none.
