Tuolumne Conditions 5/17-18

Post by mauhler31 »

Went dayhiking off of 120 this past weekend. Thought I'd share a picture of the nearby peaks so people can see the snow conditions. I took this from the top of Lembert Dome, which is pretty snow free.

As you can see, the meadows is snow-free, but you can see snow in the trees and the peaks. I would guess probably large snow patches starting around 9000.

Thanks, but it snowed last night and today, so I would guess more snow exists now. Enough to close the road anyway.

Thanks Mauhler for taking the time to post these informative photo's for those
who plan on visiting that area, and for thinking of you fellow HST members.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
