WEATHER ALERT (MON 5/19-THUR 5/22)

Post by maverick »

Winter Advisory for the Sierra. Thunder/Snow Showers predicted, with
temps dropping into the teens over the higher elevations. If you still plan
to go, please be prepared for winter conditions, expect to deal with cross-country
conditions (trails will be covered with snow), and be prepared to deal with
very low temps at higher elevations.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
