Snippet off today's Reno technical forecast discussion long range possibilities. That would be Nov 7/8. Many locations in the SF Bay Area received ZERO precipitation this October though the Sierra and northwest parts of the state received minor amounts.

ECMWF IS SHOWING A DECENT PRECIPITATION EVENT IN THE NORTHERN SIERRA LATE
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THE GFS ENSEMBLES ARE ALL TRENDING TOWARD A
NEGATIVE PHASE OF THE PACIFIC-NORTH AMERICAN PATTERN, WHICH IS ALSO
A FAVORABLE SIGN FOR A POTENTIALLY WETTER PATTERN LATE NEXT WEEK.
