Here is the latest snowpack summary (as of Dec 10th) for California, courtesy of California Department of Water Resources. The statewide average is 94 percent of normal for this date, while the current average for the southern Sierra Nevada is at 117 percent of normal for this date.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Seems central and south Sierra okay. North, below average. Socal snow good - for now.

Still too early to know how it will turn out. Also, the "blob" is back.
