Try the anti-skunk scent recipe on my post above. I wager you'll be happy with the results.

I'll give it a try -24 hours later it's still as strong as ever!

In the early 70s a family would come each night to my back door in the hills of Westlake Village for peanut butter sandwiches. A 4th of July outdoor party one year did nothing to deter them, but the guest sure went running! I gave them their little treats and off they went. They were very sweet, never threatening.

We're not supposed to feed the wildlife. Actually, it's against the law. Not criticizing, just saying.. :)

Also late 70's, living in the Hollywood Hills,
An older lady occupied the down stair's maid quarters...(she had lived on the property 40+ years!)
We would check up on her occasionally, bring her meals/groceries.
Seems that one winter, she raised a mother and 8 babies...
We walked in one day to see her catering a little skunk tea party, all sitting down calmly on her window-side table. She said that they came in every day, late afternoon - stayed for an hour or so, and then left quietly. I stopped in a few times afterwards, just to see. Interesting that they never sprayed inside her quarters.
Intelligent animals...pretty cool too.
