I don't think you can see Cirque Peak from Owens Valley at that angle. It does, however look like a view of the eastern slope of the Sierras from Owens Valley.

I've never been in the region of Cirque Peak but I did wonder about the ability to see it from the Owens Valley.

I tried to take a look at the trip map and received the error:

"The following errors occurred:
This trip is private"

If you have a map you may be able to use google earth to fly the route and see if any of the ridgelines match up. I spent a little time looking at the area you mentioned (Thousand Island Lake, etc) but didn't find a match.
