GB.. PM sent.

Eric, to back up your claim about ranch :evil: (the intro on this recipe was funny. if you make it yourself and you like it to each their own)

here's an interesting recipe: http://www.chow.com/recipes/28753-basic-ranch-dressing" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

not to switch context too much, but do you dehydrate ranch and take it with you into the mountains?

Russ.. evidently a weirdo.

Too late. And no, I don't take ranch with me. In fact, all I ever really use it for is as a dipping sauce for raw snack veggies.

Mention of ranch was barely noticeable and as an afterthought "TT Tip" in the OP recipe. I'm blown away that such a minor reference to something as harmless as ranch dressing would prompt a thread hijacking.

I have to share in Russ' disdain for ranch dressing. I had so much of it AND Cup O' Noodle (not at the same time) in college, that the smell of either one, even to this day, makes me feel nauseous. Yeah, it's been over 20 years, but that buttermilk and herb stench...yich! If others are cool with it, great, but keep it away from me, thank you.

Perhaps you guys should start your own thread about your disdain for ranch dressing, or hey, maybe form a hate group with your own Facebook page where like minds can b**** about it all they want. :smirk:

some background on the sauce of which you speak: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huy_Fong_Foods" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and choices other than from the green tipped bottle:
http://importfood.com/sriracha_sauce.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I wonder if they dehydrate the chilis before they make sriracha?

you're dragging me back into the ranch saga. so... here's a tidbit. Clorox had the chance to buy a place that looks like the ranch in the commercials.. In Nevada. They chose a desert spot. In Nevada.

Back to Sriracha...
