login issues

Instead of emailing or PM'ing the Admins or Mods with technical support questions or comments about the site, check here to see if someone else has had the same difficulty or has made the same suggestion. What you're after might have already been posted and addressed. If not, rather than emailing or PM'ing us, please post a detailed description of the problem/suggestion and one of the HST team members will address your needs shortly.

login issues

Some of you may have experienced some issues with logging in this past weekend. I think I have the problem solved, but if you know of anyone who is still having problems, first ask them to clear cookies on their browser and then let me know if the problem persists.

Eric, the problem went well beyond log-in issues. The website was down -- not accessible in any way -- for most of the weekend, at least when I tried to access it. My PC displayed a "fatal error" message.

Mike,
What you experienced was a symptom of the problem. But no, the site wasn't completely down; only registered users attempting to login should have seen the fatal error message you saw - that includes auto login.
