Requesting a Backpacking/Hiking Partner Section

Post by maverick »

Hi Eric

I see some one asking about this every once in a while, and thought that it would be
a good idea to accommodate the folks looking for this in a separate section on this
board, otherwise it gets lost in all the other posts. Thanks

So should I assume that people who go alone do this from choice. I went on many trips alone and can be alone easily but would never choose this. I went because to find someone willing to go cross-country on a specific date for a circumscribed number of days was difficult. I believe it is human nature of the healthy mind to like company. My problem was I always had a specific agenda for my trips - fishing exploration or repeat enjoyment.
