Why are photos cut off?

Post by Snow Nymph »

Does anyone know why the pix are getting cut off on the right side?

They're too big for the viewable area. Before, they would stretch the page waaaay out. Now, they get cut off, which isn't any better. #-o I'll see if I can find a javascript hack for the template that places the scroll bar of large images in the post itself, rather than stretching the entire thread for one large image.

I'm currently testing a modification that might resolve this issue. Looks like it works, but I'm working through some small bugs with another developer. Hopefully we'll have the fix finalized very soon. :D

I figured it out, I should have posted back then. Instead of copying the full res image, copy "image location" (SmugMug), and insert using "Img".

Ah, the "thumbnail" method. Good call, Cori. The new attachment feature is another alternative (see post in announcements forum), and I just got an email two days ago from the coder working on a fix for oversized photos and sounded like it was almost ready to go. But unfortunately, we're working on his clock, not ours... :(
