Ha, I has just achieved a UL setup and then I added 10 pounds of camera gear to the mix. Now I use UL methods to keep my pack weight down but don't sweat the numbers too much.

Lol yep. Luckily the camera gear rides on the front for a counter balance but if I bring this tripod which i'm sure I will that adds 44 ounces to my base weight.

Hahaha! That would great except it would be a surefire way to get my gear damaged with the way she handles the trail. She likes to run into rivers with the pack on so I have to put gear in there that I'm okay with getting a little wet. She ends up carrying the bourbon and other non-essentials for the most part :)
