Here's a report dictated to me by my bearhound, Beans, including several photos of her. Yes, she did summit Fleming Mtn (I carried her over some of the large talus at the top).

She shows up in several photos in this trip report, too.

She'll be 13 yo (that's 91 in dog years) this May and if I take her out again, I know I'll have to be ready to carry her much of the way.

Callie is a pound puppy that we guess is a shepherd/chow mix. She'll be 2 years old in about a month.

Here's Homer, our constant companion for 10 years of fantastic adventures.

Although he passed away nearly a year and a half ago and my wife and I still miss him a great deal, we love looking though old photos and remembering the good times.

This is probably my favorite portrait.

He was always close by, usually circling back to 'herd' or check on the the person who was hiking in back and falling behind.

I love the photos my wife took that show Homer and I hiking together.

To me this photo is a bit of a metaphor for his passing; Homer walking up the path by himself, into beauty, leaving us behind. (had to stop typing for a bit, I must have got something in my eye)

Rest in peace Bigga Buddy! :crybaby:
