Anyone have late fall/winter photos from the Range of Light?

Have not been out since October, when I around McGee Creek. Beautiful image, John. Mammoth? I love the way the log covered in snow leads into the view of the mountains, with a lake reflection, perfect focus and depth of field. The kind of pictures I aspire to take someday.

Not as good as yours and not from the backcountry! This is looking up Taboose Creek Road on Monday afternoon -- looks better larger. For what it's worth, the Nikon DX 35mm lens is pretty nice for $199 for fellow amateurs out there.

I'd wander the high Sierra in winter more if I could get anyone to go. The day I start driving I will outfit myself with major winter gear and get out there!

May as well have been winter, that year; I think it snowed a foot on us very near that spot the week prior!

Excellent Rogue.

That looks like an eastside lake, but I'm not placing it. Could've been some good ice skating eh?
