Wow...'Mini' Camp, indeed. The blurring gives it the appearance of a zoom-in on a model scale scene. Cool!

The effect is called tilt shift. I was quite happy to see that the Canon G1X had a built in setting for taking these type of photos. As a result I have a whole line of photos this year that are mini.
