Horseshoe Lakes. Really never cowboy camped until the Sierra this year. WOW!

A couple of Kodachromes from August 1982, Merced Peak Fork in the Clark Range, from the days when you pitched your tent on the grass. It just started a downpour when we put up the tent. The visibility was about 100 feet. The rain stopped and we discovered this incredible view. I took the second photo after dinner before I hung the food from the tree in the foreground.

One of my favorite campsites in the Sierra. Visited in early 70's then 2007 and again this year. Pic below is from 2007.
