Instead of digging up old threads I thought I would post here as I get things along from this summer.

There are still some videos I would like to add but who knows when I will do that since I have zero video editing experience.

Rogue:
Maybe you wrote about this and I missed it. Did you climb Observation Peak? I climbed only one peak in my 500+ days of BP and it was that one. How could I not? What does its name tell you? And it really lives up to its name. My son Mike, 10yo, walked up there with me. On the peak is where I read about "the huge rainbows in Tunamah".

Your friend, Tom.

Yeah I did climb it. I didn't plan to but I went up anyway. A very nice view for sure.

That's allot of backpacking without doing peaks. I don't care much about the statistics of climbing peaks but I love the views!

As you probably remember, I had a real passion for fishing the Sierra and didn't want to take time from fishing to climb peaks. High, cross country passes were all the good views I needed.

This was taken about half way between the Forks of the Kern and Kern Flat. I caught these two (one male, one female) from the same "hole" about 7 hours apart. They were my first and last fish on the day. The larger was the last. They're both Browns.

Yeah I was alone almost the whole trip. I met up with a PCT hiker at Lodegpole and we hiked together for 5 days.

On Dumbell Pass I met up with two guys and hiked with them the rest of the day and then camped with them. Also spent most of the next day talking to them before I had to get moving.

Other then that I was alone.

Luckily Week 12 is going allot faster then 11. I should be able to post that in a couple days.
