That's a tough one Mav.....I've been pretty fortunate to play many of the great courses in the western US. I love the tracks in Monterey and SF and have played them all (including pebble, spyglass, cypress, sf club, olympic, etc.) but if you allowed me to pick 1 ocean course it would be pacific dunes in Bandon, OR. Inland course it would be Lahontan GC in Truckee - for the golf and fly fishing

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
