Cool cloud Eric! Brian that shot sure has more snow, probably had even more last year.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

here is more or less the same ridgeline oct 2011. There was a very deep snowbank at the top of piute pass last year

Piute pass last Sept 15th 2011.
The ice fog i spoke of rolling in at Lower Deso Lk last year.
A much different and forgiving 2012 season.
