View from a privy!

Many of you may think that this topic stinks but there are a few places in the Sierra where use is so high that backcountry priveys have been established to reduce the proliferation of tp gardens. Which ones have the best view? Now I got on this kick after viewing a photo I took from an open air privey in the north cascades built by the Forest Service so it is slight off topic but it is a way to get things started.

Interesting topic Mike...something you are familiar with too I see…an expert?

Never carried a camera but have oft dwelled on such matters myself.

The old Whitney throne, 14,500 feet, was scenic and way up there too…Sad that it is now only a memory…was a bit drafty?
Crabtree Meadows has a nice one – with a mellow, open-air ambiance.

My favorite though, (alas, now long-gone), was the old white Privy at Washburn's inlet.

This isn't in the backcountry (it's in a campground near Florence Lake/Bear Diversion), and it doesn't have a view other than of the nearby trees, but it did make me grin when I saw it :).

it was pretty much the best one ever - far right, the "brown spot"
