For linking to forums, I think Photobucket will let you do it with a free account, and I think Flickr.com will as well.

It seems to work for me. After the first time, the image shows up.

For some odd reason, it seems that if you manually load the image (enter the URL into a new browser instance), the image will load correctly on the forum page here. Once you kill the current instance of the forum (HST) and bring it back up again, it's not displaying again (until you manually enter the URL again). Looks like the image hoster needs to have an active session token before it'll permit the image to be linked.

I had to copy/paste into a new browser too. I have my own website for photos so I can't personally recommend a photo site.

Nice photo!

I'm guessing it has to do with Photo.net not allowing hotlinking without an active session. I don't have any experience with Photo.net, so I'll have to step aside for others with more experience with Photo.net.

I guess it's time to find a better place to park my photos.

Well, I logged onto photobucket. I'm still fiddling around with working with the site and posting my pictures.
How does this look?

the pics look great!

I have never had a problem with photo.net.

Here is one of mine hosted there and I don't pay for my account.

If you guys/gals have a firewall, sometimes the pop-up blocker will prevent some pics from showing. Lower the setting and the pics should show up.
