I guess everyone is out taking new photos!

There hasn't been a photo posted here in a few days so I thought I would bump the forum with a cold, wintery blast from the past. My last trip to Yosemite. I really need to get back there soon!

Regards,
Robert

Something must be wrong with my settings.
More than half the photos here come through great...the others, all I get is a red x in box.
The link provided last says ...all I get is: "You are not authorized to view this page."
Any thoughts?
This never happened before...just recently...no changes on my comp.

I also have had this problem - this afternoon this photo was a '?' icon for me. Now it is visible. This always seems to be a problem with popular web servers like photo.net and webshots.

I usually just 'option-click' the link (on a mac) to copy and paste the link into a new brower window, which isn't optimal but works fine.

BTW nice photo Robert, brings back memories of winter. brrrr.

Not for me. Oh, and the link you provided above just does this in IE7:

"/web/photonet/www/graphics/unauthorized.jpg"

If I manually paste the URL to the image into a browser it'll work...

Nice image, tho! :)

I only get a red-x too. The only way I can view it is if I manually copy and paste it into the URL. I think this is because unless one pays the $25 fee for having Photo.net host an image, you can't link directly to it from another site. Some people can still view it, depending on browser settings, but most people can't. You can link to the photo as long as it's not a direct link (that sounds confusing), meaning you can link to the URL where the photo is at if you post it here by copying and pasting from the actual URL and not the photo itself (not going to the photo itself and copying the properties, but just copying from the URL bar).
