Re: Best Photo of 2010 contest - Discussion
I expected more as well, at least from the PRO's, who have submitted previously. This forum is kind of an equal playing field. Sure, I don't carry a hasselblad, but I submitted some, because it's kind of an annual thing. And some really nice stuff submitted as well.

Contest is over...(first stage anyway).
All members are now invited to submit their recommendations as to which one they think worthy of being in the final...the one they deem best - one nominee per member only.
PM me - Markskor
or
Markskor at Yahoo.com
Final "vote-off" will follow, once a "top ten" is established.
Thanks...
Mark

Come on out there...make a choice and PM me.
If I do not get more than 7 replies (so far), I will just let this thing die for lack of interest.
Maybe better that way if nobody cares.

Markskor:
Could you place the entries in an online gallery so we can view them together, rather than in a string of forum entries? It would make it easier to compare and contrast. Not that choosing a favorite will be easy, with all the great photo entries.

Mike,
Since there are not that many photos entered, (got to say little disappointed still in the lack of responses from the pros), even though it may be slightly difficult to page through them all, you can do it!
After all the nominations are in, (if enough members respond), then the top 10 entries will be re-listed/ re-posted again for all to vote on easily as a poll. Until then...

I guess I sort of spaced and didn't know we were supposed to submit one we thought was best.
I'll look them over.
As for the contest I didn't want to submit a whole crapload of photos and drown people out.

Rogue thanks - awaiting your nomination.
FYI, Would rather be drowning in a "crapload" than wanting with a bucket half full. One thing most enjoyable about your attitude is that you never apologize...even though you may be crazy.
Always good to read your stuff.

Contest will end June 18 - midnight, if we get any responses...so far very slow.
FYI, If nobody else wants to nominate, I will just let it die.
Not worth the work for the 6 nominations so far.
