Really weird cloud formation

Postby GH-Dave » Wed Dec 01, 2010 3:13 pm

This isn't a backpacking photo, per se, but we do live in the Sierra, and I saw this really weird cloud formation at our place a few minutes ago.

Interestingly, we just watched the movie, "War of the Worlds" a few nights ago. No lightening in this one, though. :)

That is cool Dave.
I see the most interesting cloud formations most of time I'm driving along
395, especially when a monsoonal system, and a western or northern front
collide near Mono Lake which is a real treat.

That's really cool. Can you imagine the swirling winds that made that happen ? Nature always amazes me. Thanks for posting.
