These brought back some fond memories...1989, my then girlfriend, soon to wife, and I did some adventuring around the Minarets. We drove a 1969 Buick Skylark from Connecticut to CA for a 3 week vacation. Started out in Berkley at the Greek Theater for a few Dead shows and then off to the mountains. We drove through Yosemite on the way to Mammoth.

We took a day trip up to Catherine Lake with the intention of Climbing Banner Peak. Here is look back to 1000 Isle Lake

Looking up the gap between Ritter and Banner
Looking back down
There was WAAAYYY too much rock fall occurring to continue on our climb so we headed back down for the sunset
Then on to Nydiver Lakes.
