Nice dawn skylight tufa pic. Landscape images with significant areas of shadows in a frame, have never set well with my sense of aesthetics although many new photographers tend to be oblivious to that issue. Thus on my own images will tend to crop such out. Actually for many years back to the 80s with 35mm SLRs to my 4x5 work now, I've used a set of fixed lenses instead of the more common zooms (except at the far tele end), thus careful cropping has been inherent in my work. In the tufa pic, you might look at setting the right frame edge a bit right of the lower right angled tufa doglog. Additionally look at cropping a wee bit off the bottom and top.
