Great photos, did you get to most of the lakes back there? I've always wanted to explore that area more, on both sides of the Kaweah peaks ridge.

we got to most of the lakes in Nine Lake Basin, we tried Pyra-Queen col but turned around due to conditions. Pretty awesome area

I remember now you where considering going over Pants Pass into Kaweah Basin
but decided to stick with Pyra-Queen but your wife of girlfriend, do not remember
which one it was, twisted her ankle, right?

By the way did you stay at the hotel right across lake from the Cuernos del Paine?

Do you mean Paine Grande Hotel? No, we didn't stay at any hotels w/in TDP, other than the Hotel Marmot Alpinist :) we did camp next to the Paine Grande though. they provide a really nice area for campers to cook and eat in. If you're going to get stuck somewhere in a rainstorm Paine Grande is a good choice. They also have a decent selection of food and cheap wine
