The one with the wooden crank wheel? Yeah I climbed into it and out the other side. That Copper Mine Old route is one awesome way to go. Amazing views, mining history and a peak to bag.

lake 11818 in ionian basin is really 2 lakes seperared by two penninsulas that almost touch and the elevation difference is like a foot.... here's the junction, some moss near the junction, and some lichen near the junction:

Weird red metamorphic rock on the shelf between Goddard creek area and Ionian Basin. This is part of a crimson seam that runs vertically up the wall of the shelf. This area is a jumbled, twisted geological wonderland. August 2012.
