above starburst picture brought to mind this photo from last summer. I think I haven't posted it before. Heading up to Bishop Past on the east side, with the early morning sun creeping across the top of the Inconsolable Range. Aperture Peak and Mt. Agassiz in the center ahead. Bishop Pass is hidden behind the ridge right of Mt. Agassiz.

Was in Sequoia yesterday looking for some bears, found a total of SEVEN. Four bear cubs, and three adults. This family I've been following since last July. Pretty awesome to see the babies growing and the mother being back to normal size. Last year these bears were born.
