Fishmonger, I love what you are finding in your viewfinder and the beautiful renderings. Keep em coming! Have you told us what camera and lens you used on this trip yet?

Re: SIERRA INSPIRATION PHOTOTHON!
At the Kid Lake in Rouges Photo I had a serious fall in the snow. I made a really bad injury worse. I was with (saint) Diane so I wasn't afraid of dying. In the 60's there were lots of fish to be caught in that lake and the one below it and the lake South of there. There were no fish in the North Forks Lakes.
In 2003 there were no fish in the South Lake, good fishing in the lake below the lake in the photo. In the lake in the photo Gregg and I fished for nearly 2 hours and caught only 1 large fish a piece. I suspect there are no fish there now.

I guess I only posted gear on "another forum" - copy paste and it's here, too. Was at first uncertain about bringing the 16mm f/3.5 AI full frame fisheye, but it has turned out to be my favorite lens, probably because it allowed me to look at things in a different way. The 20mm was probably on its last trip - it just isn't sharp enough to keep up with the rest of them. I may replace it with the new 20mm f/1.8 or a Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 next time around (night skies...)

Still the same. No fish in North Fork or the biggest lake below Kid Peak.there were lots of fish to be caught in that lake and the one below it and the lake South of there. There were no fish in the North Forks Lakes.
