Nice shot up Tenaya Canyon!
It looks like it was shot from Glacier Point or near about from the angle, right?

Yes, Mav, from Glacier Pt. We did a snowcamping trip with the Bay Area Snowcamping section of the Sierra Club. Quite a dump Sat. night - 4am dig-out. Snowed most of Sunday, too - 2 feet total. What I love about the Sierra is that from season to season she has so many faces.

The difference in the granite is striking here though the two photos are geographically very close. Dorothy lake Pass was an eye opener for me.. I had no idea the rock could change so completely in such a short distance.
