Here's a shot taken at Schoolmarm lake in Blackcap basin in late August. It's a great area for smooth granite hiking.

My photos are rarely inspirationally beautiful. They're inspirational because we love the Sierra.

This is a close approach to Big Bird Lake.

I took this photo last year at Little Bear Lake. I shot it with my brother's (Mike M) point and shoot camera that I stole from his pack while he was snoring away(sounded like somebody was strangling a cat) in his down sack.
