OK Tom fess up, we know both those remote waters have supposedly occasionly had golden trout fingerling drops. Well did you see any fish rings?

Dave, I have no idea. I don't really notice things like that. What I did notice was that the dang wind ruined any morning reflections. ;)

Thanks, Maverick. That whole Granite Dome area is pretty cool--an island of High Sierra in the middle of Emigrant Wilderness, with lots of spectacular rockbound high-mountain type lakes.

That would be North Wire Lake? I didn't have any luck fishing those higher lakes when thru there.
