Thanks... my shepherds were my best buddies for many years. We explored the wildest places imaginable in the lower 48. They slept with me, I took them to work with me, and we spent every weekend and vacation taking crazy adventures (including summers off in the northern Rockies for three years). They both passed away about a year ago, both from intestinal cancer. They were a mother daughter team, ages 13 and 12, so they lived their normal lifespan despite the cancer. Their names were Heidi and Sierra... their ashes are behind me on a shelf. I plan on dispersing their ashes in some of our favorite wild places, but I still can't quite do it yet. I miss them a lot and I thank God for allowing me to take care of them while they were here. We had a blast together. Now I put my energy into my little 22 month old boy, he's a kick! And my wife is preggers with another. Good times ahead!

Regarding the Canon 15mm fisheye, here's a shot with the fisheye taken with my Canon 20D, which has the crop factor. I didn't do any perspective correction on this image... it doesn't have much distortion with the cropped digital slr's. Of course it depends on what angle you hold the lens whether there's much fisheye effect or not... pointing straight ahead minimizes the effect. Also you can't attach any filters to the lens because the lens barrels out quite a ways, so this is just pure lens, no filter or PSing.

They probably explored places many only dream about seeing/doing!
