I hate Yosemite...

Post by Hikin Mike »

Just kidding :D . My wife and I went to Yosemite for an afternoon on Friday. Just went up to Tioga Pass. Had to check out my new lenses! We are going back next Monday with the kids.

Siesta Lake - but I couldn't get to the shore...too many rocks and my wheelchair just couldn't get there.

Mount Conness at Olmsted Point - No clouds, but I really love this new lens (70-200 f/4L)

Mt. Dana and Mt. Gibbs. Hardly had any mosquitoes here.

Hey Mike -

Beautiful photographs! :D

I buzzed thru the valley and east on 120 on Friday too (kind of late in the day). No doubt I went right by you? I noticed an army of guys with cameras on tripods at Olmstead on my way by and actually slowed to a crawl to have a look in the rare event someone might have looked familiar (it was probably 7:30PM by then).

Would have been nice to have met you -

Actually, I DO hate the Valley...but the Meadows is awesome!

How are you feeling Mike? Those are great photos. The first one is so crisp it is almost three-dimensional! What camera do you have?

Take care buddy.

Shawn - It wasn't me at that time. At ~7:30 I was at Dana/Gibbs View.

Jody - I'm doing well. Going back to surgery July 13 to straighten my left leg. I'm using my "old" Canon 300D "Digital Rebel", but I have the "good" lenses!

Great photos, Mike.
My son has a 10D and wants a 5D. He's had focusing issues with his 10D. The clarity of your pictures area awesome. I'll have to show them to him.
