Love the Lupine shot!

That shot of your ride looks like Mineral King Road.

Thanks Mountaineer!

The South Fork Road is muuuuch shorter than the MK road....but South Fork is like riding on wash boards much of the way :D

So that IS South Fork Road? I was visiting a friend up there last summer and that doesn't look too familiar.

Yeah...I was on the South Fork yesterday.....there are two trailheads and a campground at the end of South Fork Road. One of the trails will take you out to Hocket Meadow via Garfield Grove, Snow Slide Canyon , etc.
The other goes to Ladybug and Whiskey Log.

Well done wildflower closeups Michael. Something I've been doing a lot of recently too. Just returned from my second 3 to 4 day road trips from Mariposa and Madera County spring wildlfower areas that are peaking now. Will post something here soon. Looks like you're going to be able to go just about anywhere a machine can with that Jeep. All I could afford for my old beast recently was four new tires. But that was enough that I've been kicking up lots of dust on the dirt back roads.
