EDIT 1/23/07 >>>>>

I gave up on trying to get the Kodak Gallery shot to show up on here. I uploaded them to Picassa which is a Google program. I uploaded them as a public gallery so hopefully you all can see them now.

Here is the link.

EDIT<<<<<

Here is Yosemite looking northwest. You can see the backside of Halfdome and the Clarke Range in the left center. In the second photo you can see a 747 and it's contrails in the center.

Although it's not the sierra, I thought I'd throw in a picture of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams.

That's unfortunate for you, Markskor!! Packtofish, your pictures are beautiful, and from a perspective we don't get to see often! thanks!

This sometimes happens with certain photo servers. I think the 'problem' is on their end - I put problem in quotes because I think this is intentional on their part as many of these photo servers do not want you to directly link to the jpg photo (this is usually stipulated in their terms and services agreement which I'm sure we all read :rolleyes: ). This is just a guess though...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I right clicked on the x's and said 'open in new window', then get an error message. If I click in the url in the toolbar and hit return, it'll show up.

You can also hit "quote" and copy the url from the message into a new browser to view.

Awesome pics Dave! I just wish there was more snow...the one year I buy a season pass to kirkwood and its a month between each storm :crybaby:

Trailblazer has it right;

This from the Kodak TOS:

Great images though; fun to see the mountains from above!

I'll get them uploaded to another website when I get a chance.
