July 5 ride Onion Valley to Mammorth vic trailheads availabl

Post by ToddF »

Hello. 2 of us using reliable East Side Sierra Shuttle service from OV pkg lot Friday July 5 to 2 trail heads Mammoth area. Hiking down through the most amazing central JMT sections. You can pick your own trailhead and negotiate slight premium (like $20) cost with service. Basic costs equally divided. We're at $140 each for 2. Do the math, the more the better. More riders will cut costs for all.

Inyo NF trailheads we checked seem to have plenty of permit reservations available. Online reservation is very easy for Inyo, still must pick up paper permit to get the lecture and gear scan at one of 4 locations.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
