Great kid friendly trip possible by YARTS

I think the bus driver charged us $5 total for the 4 of us in our family to ride from Mammoth Mountain (where we parked our truck) to our starting point at June Lake. We caught the bus a 8 am at mammoth Mountain Inn.

Awesome trip with kids (ours are 9 and 11) - we hiked in from Silver Lake - hiked north to Donahue Pass just 'cause we wanted to see Yosemite from this vantage point - and then hiked out to Red's Meadow where we jumped on the bus that took us back to our truck.

Really recommend this trip! And with the YARTS service, transportation makes it easy to do this through hike!
